Not merely annoying and not to the extreme of obnoxious, lame seeps out through the air grates and permeates our behavior, expectations, and society at-large. Pretty soon it’s just there – accepted, perhaps even embraced – and the world becomes worse, lame by lame by lame.

We’ve all touched it, and we’re all lame in our own special ways; in fact many doctors say a little bit of lame everyday is actually good for you. But it’s our duty as moral citizens to identify the monster, lest we become it, by calling out each and every lame thing in contemporary life. This site aims to be an authoritative, comprehensive encyclopedia of lame as defined by you, me and the gods up above.

Obviously lame will never be defeated. But it can be observed, studied, analyzed, and therefore contained. Our goals are ambitious and the water is wide. But our mission is critical, and to those who say we won’t prevail, we will respond with three words: yes we can.
