In a world chock full of dumb expressions (of which "chock full" is a proud member), the phrase "to boot" stands out for its pointlessness, idiotic sound, and relationship to the slang term for throwing up. "My bad" was born in the mid-90s, and like the undying "awesome" it just won't go away.
